I want you to know that I do not come to this work from a place of having perfected sxx, intimacy, or embodiment.

I do not believe that is the point.

To me, sxx is not something we arrive at. It is a continually unfolding relationship with ourselve

It can be difficult to talk about sxx.

Difficult with friends, with partners, even with a practitioner whose role is to support those conversations.

Why wouldn't it be?

Sxx sits at the intersection of culture, religion, family, politics and power

There is a lot of messaging around sxx, intimacy, and pleasure. More openness. More confidence. More aliveness. More expression.

While some of it can be supportive, I wonder what it does to the nervous system when all that messaging starts to feel

I want this to be a place of curiosity and openness around somatic sxxology and my work more generally.
