— YOUR EMBODIED EROTIC SIGNATURE™ RESULT

Liberation

Eroticism shaped by freedom, transgression, and doing what you're not supposed to do.

You may notice that your erotic charge gets stronger when something feels a little off-limits. You might want to do something because you're not supposed to. You might feel more alive when you can step outside the role you're usually in, question a rule, or give yourself permission to do something you normally wouldn't.

AT A GLANCE

You may be naturally…

Curious

You might find yourself wanting to know what happens when you do something differently, especially when it sits outside what you normally know.

Independent

You may really value being able to make your own choices. Being told what you should want or how you're supposed to behave may not work particularly well for you.

Adventurous

You might enjoy trying something simply because it's new, different or a little outside your usual way of doing things.

Discerning

You may be particularly aware of the difference between a boundary that is genuinely meaningful to cross and one that simply feels imposed from outside.

WHAT YOUR SIGNATURE REVEALS

Liberation is about what happens when you step outside what you're normally supposed to do.

You might really want something because it's off-limits. You might find yourself questioning a rule you've always followed. Or you might notice that something changes when you give yourself permission to be a version of yourself that you don't usually get to be.

The charge isn't just in the thing you're doing. It's in the feeling of I don't have to do what I'm supposed to do. That can be a really powerful experience.

For some people, this might look like breaking a rule. For someone else, it might be wearing something they normally wouldn't, saying what they actually want, taking up more space, being more direct, or letting themselves be seen differently.

It's not necessarily about being reckless or doing things just because you're not supposed to. It's about freedom. It's about having a choice.

Sometimes the thing that feels erotic is simply realising that you get to choose for yourself.

This can become particularly interesting in a long-term relationship. Because when you've been together for a while, you can start to know exactly how things go. You know what your partner likes. They know what you like. You know the roles you've fallen into. There can be something really erotic about stepping outside those roles.

That doesn't mean breaking the agreements you've made with each other. It might mean giving each other enough room to surprise each other. To try something different. To be a little less predictable.

You don't necessarily need to break the rules. You just need to feel like you could.

A DISTINCTION WORTH NOTICING

Erotic transgression or genuine discomfort?

One thing worth paying attention to with Liberation is that feeling a lot of energy doesn't automatically mean something is erotic. You might feel excited, alert, restless or full of energy when you're doing something outside your usual rules.

But your body can also become highly activated when something doesn't feel right.

So there is a difference between this feels exciting because I'm choosing it and this feels intense because I've gone too far.

Erotic transgression can leave you feeling curious, more present and more like yourself. You might feel a strong sense of yes, I want this.

Genuine discomfort can feel different. You might notice yourself tightening up, pulling away, feeling overwhelmed or wanting the experience to stop.

The more you pay attention to that difference, the easier it becomes to know whether you're experiencing erotic charge or simply a lot of activation.

WHAT COMES NATURALLY, AND WHAT MAY REQUIRE MORE ATTENTION

Your strengths & growth edges

These aren't fixed characteristics. They are possibilities to become curious about.

Questioning assumptions about what sex or intimacy is supposed to look like

Accessing parts of yourself that feel less available within everyday roles

Bringing curiosity and play into established relationships

MAY REQUIRE MORE ATTENTION

Recognising when transgression is creating erotic charge rather than simply intensity

Identifying which boundaries are genuinely yours and which have been inherited

Allowing yourself freedom without needing the experience to become increasingly extreme

THE THINKING BEHIND YOUR SIGNATURE

The research behind your Signature

Your Embodied Erotic Signature™ isn't a personality test. It is informed by established research, alongside a somatic framework developed through this work.

THE RESEARCH

Jack Morin's Core Erotic Themes

Embodied Erotic Design™ is informed by psychologist Jack Morin's research into intensely erotic experiences.

Through his analysis of first-person accounts, Morin identified four recurring dynamics within erotic experience, which he called the Cornerstones of Eroticism. Liberation corresponds to his work on violating prohibitions.

The Embodied Erotic Signature™ framework takes these underlying erotic themes into a somatic context, examining how they may be experienced through the body, how erotic charge is affected by context and relationship, and how nervous-system activation can influence the experience.

The erotic theme comes from the research. The embodied framework is the work developed here.

YOUR BODY

Erotic experience involves changes in attention, breathing, muscular activity, sensation, heart rate and autonomic arousal.

For Liberation, this may involve a heightened sense of activation as you approach or move beyond a boundary, increased energy, alertness, intensity or an impulse towards something that has previously been restricted.

The Full Signature Report explores this in greater depth, including the relationship between activation and receptivity in your individual pattern.

The aim is not to place you into a fixed nervous-system category. It is to help you recognise how activation shows up for you, how it can support erotic experience, and when it may start to feel like too much.
